When your shoes arrive at one of our Shoe Doctor locations, we begin with a detailed hands-on inspection. Our trained technicians examine the material, condition, stains, odor, and any signs of damage or wear. Each pair is evaluated to determine the best cleaning method—whether it’s suede, leather, mesh, or designer. We check for separation, sole issues, and even lace or insole quality to ensure we give your kicks the care they truly deserve.
We document the condition before starting any service to ensure full transparency and top-tier results. Every pair is treated with the same attention to detail—because at Shoe Doctor, we don’t just clean shoes, we restore confidence.
THE CLEANING PROCESS
Where the Magic Happens
After inspection, your shoes head straight into the cleaning phase. Our Shoe Doctor specialists apply premium sneaker-safe solutions to break down dirt, grime, and buildup. Using soft-bristle brushes, detailing tools, and microfiber cloths, we carefully clean every panel—from uppers and midsoles to outsoles and stitching—by hand.
Depending on the material, we adjust our technique to protect suede, preserve leather, and revive mesh without damage. Each shoe is then sanitized and deodorized for that fresh, box-out-the-store feel.
This isn’t a quick wipe-down—this is sneaker surgery done with precision and pride.
FINAL INSPECTION

Once the cleaning is complete, each pair goes through a detailed final inspection. Our specialists place the shoes on a sterile tray—just like surgical tools—and review every inch under bright lights to ensure a flawless finish.
We double-check the soles, check for missed spots, re-lace if needed, and perform a final deodorization. If it doesn’t pass our quality standard, it goes back for a second cleaning—no questions asked.
